For individuals who have completed Rockwood's core program,
the Art of Leadership, we offer an advanced program,
Art of Leadership ll.
The advanced curriculum draws from the same training
perspective as all of Rockwood's offerings. We believe
that there are proven ways of thinking and acting, supported
by clear skills and structures, that enable people to
lead groups more effectively toward common goals. Moreover,
it is possible to master, and to help others to develop,
the capacity to act from the deepest, clearest, and
most powerful places within ourselves.
Art
of Leadership II draws on methodologies from long-standing
personal awareness trainings, the best of corporate
leadership development programs, and an array of contemplative
disciplines. This course will support participants in
a powerful journey of personal transformation, ultimately
creating a new paradigm for social change leadership.
Art
of Leadership II will help participants to:
Quickly and effectively resolve conflicts between
departments and individuals, manage difficult people,
and develop leadership at all levels within organizations
Diagnose, manage and effect full-scale organizational
change in response to new programs and changing circumstances
Create and implement impeccable standards of group
behavior, accountability and results
Participants will receive a wide variety of skills and
tools to carry forward into a lifetime of leadership,
activism and service.
Prerequisites and Application Process
We will be accepting only 20 to 25 participants for this
4-day training program. All applicants must have completed
the core Rockwood program, the Art of Leadership.
