The Art of Leadership for Women in Racial Justice and Human Rights, NYC area
When: September 21-25, 2008
Where: Edith Macy Conference Center, Briarcliff Manor, NY
This special Art of Leadership has been created with the vision of supporting women of color and white women leaders to strengthen their work for racial justice and human rights. This five-day intensive seminar is designed to teach powerful visioning, listening, speaking, presentation, coaching, team-building, and feedback skills to emerging and established leaders.
There is a two-step application process. Please complete the standard online application by following the link below. Selected women will be asked to complete a supplemental application.
A Room and Board charge of $960 will be due, in addition to the Program Tuition that you select from the sliding scale based on the Annual Budget of your organization.
As a special 5-day training, there will be an adjusted tuition cost of +$150 to the regular sliding scale levels to accommodate for the additional day.

The Edith Macy Conference Center is convenient to all the major airports in the area. The closest airport, the Westchester County (or White Plains) Airport, is 25 minutes away. LaGuardia and JFK Airports are 45 minutes AND 1 hour away respectively. Newark Airport in New Jersey is 1 hour and 15 minutes away.
